Monitor Dell EMC Isilon Scale-Out Network Attatched Storage

Data Collection Setup

Collect metrics via the REST API on the Isilon OneFS host.

Network Requirements

Port: 8080 (TCP) to the Dell EMC Isilon Virtual IP (VIP)
HTTP connection to the REST API

Least Privileged User

You must create a read-only monitoring user in the Isilon management console with the following permissions assigned:

Supported Versions

Dell EMC Isilon with OneFS: 8.0.1+

Active Directory Authentication Support

Active Directory authentication is only available on OneFS 8.1+.

Connection Parameters

Event Cutoff TimeEvents before this time will not be collected.

TypeInterface type. The '*gige' types stand for 'gigabit ethernet'. 'gige' itself is occasionally also referred to in other places as 'ext' for 'external'. 'ib' and 'ib_qdr' are internal Infiniband interface types. 'vlan' and 'vmxnet3' are virtual interface types that appear on virtual nodes. 'loopback' is an interface for failover addresses and should only appear if failover is configured.
