Logs Collected

Windows DHCP log information is collected from the log files located in C:/Windows/System32/dhcp/ by default and then sent to Google Stackdriver Logging using the BindPlane Logs Agent.

Log Collection Setup

Pre-requisites

  • Enable DHCP Audit Logging

Configure a Windows DHCP Log Source

  1. Install the BindPlane Log Agent on the host system.
  2. Login to BindPlane and select the Logs tab.

  1. Select the Sources tab.

  1. In the top-right portion of the screen, click on the Add Source Configuration button

  1. Choose Windows DHCP
  2. Fill out the Windows DHCP Log configuration form
