The logs collected for MySQL are the General, Error, and Slow Query logs. The examples below include an aborted connection to a database from the Error logs and several query related logs from the General logs.

Follow these steps to set up log collection from MySQL.
Locate the local MySQL log file locations.

- Install the BindPlane Log Agent on the host system.
- Login to BindPlane and select the Logs tab.
- Select the Sources tab.
- In the top-right portion of the screen, click on the Add Source Configuration button

- Fill out the MySQL log configuration options.

Choose the log types to collect from, and ensure the path is correct.
