Docker Swarm

Logs Collected

The Docker Swarm log bundle collects and sends log data to Google Stackdriver Logging from the following types of logs:

  • kernel
    Events and information related to the host OS kernel
  • dockerd
    Events and information related to the dockerd daemon.
  • containerd
    Events and information related to the containerd daemon
  • NetworkManager
    Events and information related to Docker Swarm service networks

Docker Engine API version 1.30 and all previous versions

Log Collection Setup

Configure a Docker Swarm Log Source

  1. Install the BindPlane Log Agent on the host system.
  2. Login to BindPlane and select the Logs tab.
