Logs Collected

The information sent to Stackdriver Logging for Couchbase logs is collected from a number of logs files. These include:

  • Couchbase Error Logs
  • Couchbase Debug Logs
  • Couchbase Info Logs
  • Couchbase Access Logs
  • Couchbase internal Access Logs
  • Couchbase Babysitter Logs
  • Couchbase Cross Datacenter Replication Logs

Log Collection Setup

Follow these steps to setup log collection from Couchbase.


Find the file location for the Error, Access, and Babysitter log files.

Configure a Couchbase Source

  1. Install the BindPlane Log Agent on the host system.
  2. Login to BindPlane and select the Logs tab.

  1. Select the Sources tab.

  1. In the top-right portion of the screen, click on the Add Source Configuration button

  1. Choose Couchbase
  2. Fill out the Couchbase log configuration options.
